Description
Spend a relaxing vacation in the western part of Crete, Greece, in the beautiful and idyllic mountain landscape of Apokoronas, southeast of Hania.
In spring, summer, autumn or winter – traveling to Crete always means something special. Located not far from North Africa the temperatures are seldom less than 10 degrees Celsius even in winter.
Relaxed swimming and sun-bathing at one of the countless sandy beaches, sight-seeing at archeological places which are witnesses to 4000 year old history of the minoan cultur will also include museums and churches – a vacation in this area never gets boring.
During a hiking tour through the fertile and unique landscape of Western Crete with the Lefka-Ori-Mountains, more than 2.450 m high, at the same time you will have beautiful views of the deepblue sea.
Our new, traditionelly restored, exclusive apartments in the village Tsitsifes are a great spot to start sightseeing tours and events. The next village is Vrisses.
To the town of Hania with its delightful venecian harbor you just need 30 minutes, to the beautiful, long and sandy beaches is just another 15 minutes and with hiking tours you can begin right in front of the door.
In the mood for nightlife? No problem either. At the long beaches west of Hania are lots of beach-lounges, clubs and bars. Or you can spend an evening dancing to greek folklore music. In summertime you can enjoy tasty greek plates, the traditional Raki (spirit from grapes) or cocktails until the early morning light. In winter Hania has to offer various entertainment in countless cafés and bars.
Each detail of the original houses has been restored with love. The use of stone and wood adds to the decor of each villa. During every time of the year you can spend a comfortable and unforgetable holiday in our apartments. Pools and sunbeds are available free of charge.
