The apartment is perfectly situated for:- sailing, boat hire, water skiing, fishing, wind surfing, kite boarding, snorkling, cycling, walking, horse riding, polo, tennis and golf. The Almenara Hotel, nearby, has a health and beauty spa.
Beach clubs and safe beaches are close by, including Torrequadariaro (10 mins walk), Sotogrande (5 mins walk). It’s a 10 min drive to Alcaidesa and the very popular surfing and kite-boarding beaches of Tarifa on the Atlantic Coast are 40 mins drive away.
Ideally situated for top-class golf courses, all within 10/15 minutes. Valderamma, San Roque (2 18 hole courses), Real Club de Golf Sotogrande, La Reserva, Almenara (27 holes). A further 15 courses are within 30 minutes drive and there is also a golf academy.
Skiing is within 2.5 hours to the Sierra Nevada mountains and its wonderful ski resort. All necessary equipment is available for hire, as is entry to “ski schools”. The best months are January to March for excellent skiing, and it is often okay to ski to the end of April.

Deposit of 25% required on confirmation of booking. Balance 60 days before start of stay. If booking less than 6 weeks before rental date, payment must be made in full.. Breakage deposit (300 euros) 60 days before start of stay. Breakage return 14 days after end of stay. Booking cancellations: before 8 weeks – loss of deposit. 8 weeks or less – loss of deposit plus 30%. 2 weeks or less – loss of deposit plus 60%. 1 week – loss of deposit plus 100%.
Airports: Gibraltar 20 mins, Malaga 60 mins, Jerez 60 mins, Seville 110 mins. Train: AVE high speed train Madrid to Malaga. Car: Malaga 1 hour via AP-7 (Toll), Marbella/Puerto Banus 30 mins, Algeciras Port (ferry to Tangiers/Cueta) 45 mins. Access to Puerto Sotogrande – Exit 133 from AP-7 Malaga to Cadiz. Direct access fro N-340. Car hire available at all airports and highly recommended.
At the heart of Sotogrande Port and Marina with bars, restaurants, shops, banks, post office. Beaches, tennis, sailing within walking distance. Pueblo Nueva de Guadiaro shops, banks, restaurants, night clubs 5 min drive. Bird sanctuary and Torrequadiaro 10 min walk. Less than 45 mins away there are historic sites, theatre/cinema, large shopping areas, theme park, zoo casino and numerous restaurants.
