Description

The golden sandy beaches of the Famagusta district stretch out in the eastern corner of the island. The popular holiday making centres of Agia Napa and Paralimni have been called a veritable paradise for anyone who loves the sea and water sports. The charming scenery includes the tiny fishing harbour of Agia Napa, and the medieval monastery in the heart of the village, the wind mills and small churches in the surrounding villages, which spread out in the area of Paralimni and Protaras.
The area of Kapparis is situated next to the famous Ghost Town of Famagusta and is only 45 minutes from Larnaca Airport. There are numerous coves and beaches just a stones throw away from the apartment with the opportunity for you to try your skills at Water Skiing, Paragliding, Wind Surfing etc. Nearby is the bus service which can take you into Agia Napa, Protaras or the traditional village of Paralimni where you will find local handicrafts and even a small branch of Marks & Spencers! It is the ideal location for a quiet family holiday with the chance of travelling into the more hectic and noisy areas of Protaras and Agia Napa and then leaving it all behind and returning to this peaceful resort. There are plenty of bars and tavernas nearby and Supermarkets are on your doorstep. Car hire is also available to enable you to travel a little further and explore the rest of this beautiful island

Bedrooms

The bedrooms (One double and one twin) have ample wardrobes and sliding doors opening onto large sun terraces which benefit from the sun for most of the day. Bed linen is provided and both bedrooms are air conditioned. There is also a travel cot.

Bathrooms

The bathroom is fitted with a glass enclosed shower, hand basin, WC and bidet. Towels are included

Living room

Roomy living area with air conditioning, two double bed settees, coffee table, TV and DVD player.

Kitchen

The kitchen is fully fitted with fridge/freezer, oven, hob, hood, washing machine, large George Foreman grill, microwave, kettle and toaster. There is a dining table and six chairs.

Other rooms

The sun terrace has a large patio table and six chairs, two sun loungers and a BBQ.

Description of amenities

The apartment is cleaned before arrival and after leaving, but if additional cleaning is required this can be arranged locally. The air conditioning is included in the price

Suitability

This is a ground floor apartment and is therefore very accessible to children, elderly and people with disabilities. There are beaches, bars and restaurants within easy reach and local bus services to the nearby resorts of Protaras and Agia Napa. For exploration further afield, car hire is available.

Local activities

Watersports and scuba diving are available locally.

1. All bed linen and bathroom towels are included, but we do not provide beach towels.
2. Full use of electricity, air conditioning and heating is also included
3. A guest information pack can be found inside the apartment together with guide books.
4. Further services can be negotiated locally and we can arrange airport pick ups and mid week cleans if required. All charges payable locally.
5. Discounts can be arranged for longer stays.

Conditions

1. A 25% non refundable deposit is required on booking, with full payment to be received six weeks before departure
2. If departure is less than six weeks full payment will be required with booking.
3. 100 GBP fully refundable security deposit is required to cover any damages at the time of full payment. This will be refunded within ten days after the end of your holiday if there is no damage and the key is returned. You will not normally be charged for small breakages, for example glasses etc.

Getting there

Easyjet is now flying from Gatwickto Larnaca Airport and from Manchester, Luton, Gatwick and Bristol to Paphos Airport.

Jet2 is now flying from Leeds/Bradford to Larnaca Airport and from Newcastle and Leeds/Bradford to Paphos Airport.

Other low cost airlines such as Monarch, Eurocypria and Olympic also fly to Cyprus.

Larnaca Airport is approximately 45 minutes drive to the apartment – pick-ups can be arranged and paid for locally.
