Your property tagline is displayed under the main title. Try and sum up your property in one sentence or less.

Property Introduction

Summarise points that make your property stand out. Try not to go in to too much detail about the appliances and furniture, this helps people see the personal side to your property – you can go into further detail later.

Example:

The original building may date back to the 16th century but like many of the farms in the area it has been added to over the years, It has two dates over windows, 1689 and 1732. The cottage available to rent has been recently restored.
The house is part of a small hamlet of about 8 houses containing a listed building and is surrounded by working farmland. The hamlet nestles in a shallow coombe with fields behind rising to a low chalk ridge from which there are spectacular views over the surrounding countryside.

Bedrooms Description

It’s helpful to explain sleeping arrangements – your property may sleep a total of 8, but 4 of those may be on sofa beds or single beds. Be as specific as possible to avoid customer complaints later.

Example:

The master bedroom overlooks the coastline and has a large private balcony with a table and seating for 2 – excellent for watching the sunrise or sunset. There is a king-size 4 post bed with mosquito net, walk in wardrobe big enough for all your shoes! and a luxurious en-suite bathroom with a shower and spa. The second bedroom has three single beds (ideal for the kids), with easy access to the bathroom and plenty of draw and wardrobe space. There is also a large fold out sofa bed in the lounge which comfortably sleeps two adults. Additional draw and wardrobe space is also supplied.

Suitability Comments

Suitability is a great area for you to give useful information and ideas to prospective renters. It’s best if you give details of things you like about the area, about the property itself, and who exactly you think will be best suited to it. Or if necessary who is not suitable for the property.

Example:

We found that the kids love having the garden and the pool to play in, my husband and i also really enjoy the surrounding area for it’s superb selection of scenery, activities and great food. It’s also an ideal place to bring family or friends, Everybody is welcome.. Shops, food markets and large cities are all within an hour’s drive. If driving is not for you, then you may feel a little isolated from the world. All in all this is a great secluded retreat for all the family and friends to enjoy in so many ways!

Activities

Instead of using single words, try and make these as explanatory as possible. People visiting will like to know what sort of things they can expect to find locally and further afield. Include personal favourites, recommendations, popular local activities and annual events.

To make these activities into a list on your property page, you must place an asterisk and a space before each activity. Like this:

Getting there

There is no need to give exact directions at this stage, but it is nice to know the best way to get somewhere. What methods of transport are quickest or cheapest? Is a car necessary? are local taxis expensive? Is walking at night dangerous? etc.

Example:

Our house is about 35 minutes from the airport. Car hire is recommended if you want to take advantage of activities in the local area and is available from the airport at reasonable cost when booked in advance. We have used hertz in the past and they seem good. Taxis cost about 40 Euros from the airport and 10 euros return to the local town, day and night. Walking to the shops takes about 10 minutes, but is not recommended at night.
